The Complex Bets platform launched publicly in early April 2026. Each episode of its flagship weekly YouTube programme covers current topics in sports and gaming, typically featuring a guest, with content framing oriented around both traditional sportsbook markets and Fanatics Markets prediction market events. The partnership also includes Complex On The Scene — a social media series where Complex reporters cover major sporting events including the NBA Playoffs and the FIFA World Cup from the ground. All odds, market data, and product placement within the platform reference Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Markets exclusively.
Why It Matters
Fanatics entered the prediction market category in December 2025 following its acquisition of Paragon Global Markets, becoming one of the first licensed sportsbook operators to run a parallel prediction market product. Complex Bets is the content infrastructure that allows Fanatics to reach audiences for both products through a single brand voice. Complex's audience — primarily 18–34 urban males interested in sneakers, music, basketball, and football — maps almost exactly to the sportsbook and prediction market demographic. The deal is a deliberate response to the organic content advantage that prediction market platforms like Polymarket have built through social-native communities.
