SBC Summit Malta 2026 Preview: Regulation, Sports Betting and B2B Technology Lead the Agenda

SBC Summit Malta 2026 is set to take place April 21–23 at the Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa, bringing together operators, regulators, technology suppliers, and affiliates from across the global iGaming sector. The event, organised by SBC (Sports Betting Community), has established itself as one of the key spring gatherings on the iGaming calendar, with a particular focus on the European and Mediterranean markets.

The 2026 edition is expected to draw over 3,000 attendees across two days of conference sessions and a dedicated exhibition floor. Key themes on the agenda include evolving regulatory frameworks across Southern and Eastern Europe, sports betting product innovation, and B2B platform technology for operators targeting emerging regulated markets.

The Malta Gaming Authority will hold its annual regulatory briefing at the event, with CEO Yanica Sant expected to outline the MGA's strategic priorities for the remainder of 2026 — including updates to its AI governance framework and cross-border player protection coordination with other European regulators.

On the commercial side, several platform providers and payment technology firms are expected to announce new partnerships and product launches timed to coincide with the event's networking programme.

The iGaming Pulse editorial team will be providing full coverage of SBC Summit Malta 2026, including previews, on-site reporting, and post-event analysis.
